Deborahs journey
We left the hostel at 8am, and drove a few minutes down the road to Lorc Ard gorge and to see four more of the 12 Apostles. It was quite a nice morning sothe voews were good. Next we drove a few minutes down the road to London Bridge and the Bay of martys more limestone structures. Further on we stopped at Logans beach to go whale spotting. At this time of year the whales are migrating and the females come cloers to land to give birth. ther was one Southern Right whale that i could see in the water. In the afternoon we drove inland to the Grampians National Park amd stopped at Halls gap to go the aborginal cultural centre and information centre. We then drove to Reeds Lookout which has great views of the national park. Again the mountains are quite small. there was a huge bush fire in this area and the vegetation is still recovering. From reeds lookout we walked to the balconies which are overhaning rocks. The last stop was Mackenzie falls which is an impressive waterall. we were able to walk all the way down to the bottom of the fall tobe able to see the whole view. Tonight i was staying in a lodge on the middle of nowhere but there were 100s of kangaroos around here and saw 2 emus as well.
