We have been having a great vacation. It's been a little hectic and pretty loud but super fun. The sunsets from our deck are really pretty and the family time in the evenings to go with the sunsets is nothing short of extremely entertaining.

Eric and I wandered off on our own today to hike around Linville Falls. It was a nice little park area with lots of overlooks to see the falls at different angles. The woods here are very lush and almost have a rainforest feeling to them. It's very different from Colorado.

We got back to the house around 4pm and everyone was hanging out at the pool. We joined them for some fun time with the kids. Aunt Amanda, Eric's Sister, arrived this afternoon. It's very exciting every time a new person gets here.

We ate dinner and hung out on the deck. The kids all did magic with wands we picked from the tree out front. Then they all tried to make a the craziest face ever. I think Eric won. We managed to get the kids in bed at a reasonable time. The rest of us stayed up and played Mexican train and enjoyed some well deserved wine.
