I have heard rumors that it is really hot and sunny in Australia. So far it has been cool and rainy. We have not seen the sun in 4 days. None of us brought cold weather clothes, so we have been wearing our only long sleeve t-shirts and socks for a few days now. At least yesterday the rain held off, but today it has been relentless. There are seven of us staying in Rob and Anne's two bedroom apartment. It is a tight fit but we all did very well. We had the sliding glass doors open on both sides which created a heavenly breeze during the night. Sometime during the night the rain started and it has been relentless. The wind comes and goes and we were wondering if the road to Nandi would be passable to get back to the airport. Road is a very generous word for what is considered drivable around here. It is mostly gravel, potholes and eroded edges with a little bit of pavement here and there.
