This morning we said our goodbyes to Anne and Rob. We definitely have new friends for life with those two. I wish they could come on the rest of the journey with us. We walked across the street to the bus terminal and took a bus to a transfer station and picked up a second bus to take us to a ferry. The drive North up the coast to Palm Beach reminded us all of California. There were some cute homes and some very expensive homes built into the rolling hills. Most of them had views of the ocean, the bay or some sort of waterway.

We boarded a ferry and took a 25 minute ride North to Ettelong. Ray picked us up and we headed to Lesley's house in Umina Beach. Lesley has a really cute house with a pool. Her back yard is very secluded. It feels like we are in a tropical rain forest. I did not expect Australia to be so lush and full of tropical plants and birds. It is a very nice spot to base ourselves for the next several weeks.

I really hope we see some sunshine soon :)
