Deb's Adventures
Our morning consisted of recovering from last night and cleaning up. We were a bit slow getting going but we were all doing pretty good....considering. We got organized and Lesley and I headed out for one last night of girly fun. It is hard to believe that my time in Australia is coming to an end.
To thank Lesley for her hospitality I decided to take her on an overnight to Terrigal Beach. Terrigal is only about 25 minutes from Lesley's but has a really swanky Crown Plaza on the beach. I thought it would be nice to have some time away from home. No chores, no phone and no distractions.
On our way to Terrigal we stopped in the town of Avoca to go to the monthly market. This was a pretty good sized market with lots to see and do for the whole family. We walked around for a while and decided we were more interested in going to the hotel in Terrigal.
We arrived in Terrigal around 2pm and checked into our hotel. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with a balcony facing the ocean. We decided to go walk around town for a while and had lunch at an awesome organic market. Lunch was so good we decided to buy stuff there for dinner and eat on our balcony. We headed back to our room and sat outside and sipped wine and watched the people below us at the bar and the beach. Eventually we ate dinner and decided to watch movies on the pay per view. It was really nice to treat Lesley to a relaxing evening away from home.
