It is another gorgeous day as we leave Fairbanks for Denali national park by glass domed railway. It is a 4 hour trip. We eat a delicious breakfast of skillet eggs and roasted vegetables, biscuits, fruit, and juice in the dining car on the first level. Our seats are on the second level. Today we rode by bus to Fairbanks. Our 1st stop is Delta Station state park. It houses six,100 year old buildings that were built after the gold rush started. There is a fully furnished road house, weigh station for wagons to determine toll fare for ferry, telegraph office, officer quarters, tool/barn, and outhouse.
