Today we have until 11:30 to do as we please and then we will ride the Alaskan Rail in a glass dome car to Anchorage. We sleep in and then catch the shuttle to the visitors center in the park. We watched a very well done documentary on Denali national park and looked at the animal displays. At noon we walked to the depot which is across from the visitor center. We had 2 excursions today that were great! We rented a jeep with Becky and Jack and went exploring. First to Stampede road, in hopes of seeing wildlife and a glimpse of Mt. McKinley. Only 20% of the park visitors actually get to see the peak due to clouds and weather. We lucked out and got a great view of it.
