We have finished our 5 day stay in Stockholm now. Fortunately, the weather improved and we have enjoyed sunny days with clear blue skies, although the evenings have still been very cool. Spent a day travelling on the local ferries to the archipelago islands of Vaxholm and Grinda with small swimming bays and colourful timber houses and many many boats. The cold weather continues to be a shock to the system but managed to find warm leggings and gloves to add to multiple layers of clothing to keep warm today. Well we have survived the long series of flights to Europe. 6 hours to Singapore, 11 hours to Frankfurt then another 2 hours to Stockholm with another 10 hours sitting around in airports waiting for connecting flights.
