Jodhpur is known as the Blue City. Many of the houses are painted completely light blue. The Brahamans (Priests) Caste (the highest of the 4 hindu castes) used to paint there houses blue. Apologies for the late email, but we have finally arrived in Jodphur! We left at 10am and arrived at 7:15pm. Just your everyday 9 hour drive! We had breakfast at the Tree of Life Hotel back in Jaipur. Breakfast was good and was fairly uneventful, except for one little note worth mentioning.
