Not thrilled !! Besides Air Canada loosing our main bag with our clothes. Had to buy sone essentials boy were things expensive ! The first hotel not good moved as soon as could after 3 nights. Next hotel was loads better. Food that we tried was awful !! Very iffy no one speaks English had to do picture menu and didn't have clue what eating but not good even a nice looking sugar coated doughnut had strange filling !! Ended up living off Starbucks and McDonald s mainly eating McDonald's in the hotel with a bottle of wine ! Anyway walked miles and endless tube/train journey's saw Tokyo tower and the Imperial Palace but where is it ? Burnt down hundreds years ago ! Lovely gardens though. Saw loads shrines all very similar went up 45 floors at Tokyo Twin Towers observatory amazing views went to see 2nd largest Buddha in Japan and largest outdoor Buddha. Sat upstairs in Starbucks and watched the famous Shibuya junction totally amazing how it was all coordinated, all the lights went green then red at the same time !! Went to the coast but nothing much to see. Also went on the Bullet which was FAST !! Went to some beautiful gardens and shrine of Meiji Jingu and saw three weddings all in traditional dress all very beautiful . Visited a drum museum but not very interesting. Did see loads but nothing that we would have minded missing oh and all so so expensive all in all glad to leave after ten days.
