Well we arrived safely in Madrid this morning after a really enjoyable journey on the "Fransico De Goya" sleepertrain that departed Paris on the minute it was supposed to and arrived into Madrid on the minute.

We had a four berth room and it was such fun, especially after we had all washed our feet. We decided to try a hostal that was recommended here in Madrid and we can now see why it was recommended.

Madrid has been really enjoyable and the people we have met have been extremely nice and very helpful but we would not rush back for another visit.  Saying that the ood has been great and sights nice but not that great after Paris.   The Sangria was fantastic!

We are now heading for the train station to catch our train Sevilla.
