24th July PM
Well we decided to walk up the hill to the La Hambra Palace this afternoon and boy what a mistake. It didn´t seem that far and it wasn´t but it was soooooooo hot! The palace was fantastic and we had a great time. We didn´t leave until just before 7pm and when walking down the hill we noticed that a digital sign was showing 39C!
We just went back to the hotel, a quick shower and out for supper. The beer tasted so good and the food was excellent. Fiona had two glasses, heard some Aussies talking on the next table and had another cry!
Off to Valencia in the morning, early start because the train leaves at 8.45am.

This morning was fun. The builders arrived and started work at 7am. What is it about Spanish hotels and builders? I cracked, dressed and hit the streets looking for coffee and this internet cafe.
I´d better sign of now and see if the rest of my family are awake. I?ll be back later to add more photographs. Fiona has discovered my strategy of sliding off to ?"Check the net!". She is now limiting my time on-line.

We arrived here in Grenada about 3pm yesterday after yet another great train journey from Sevilla. The Spanish really do have there trains operating very well. Ou?r Interrail Global Pass is proving to be a great success. The ticket is valid for a month and all we have to do is reserve a seat. Yesterday it only cost us 16 euros for the 4 of us to travel from Sevilla to Grenada, which took 3.5 hours and the train arrived right on time. Oh and it was air-conditioned!
On arrival a quick taxi ride saw us at the hotel which is very nice. Grenada is a much smaller city than Sevilla but like Sevilla a great place to walk around.
We were all in need of a little Siesta when we arrived because it was well over 30 degrees. No rain!
Walking around last night was great fun and we decided to eat in a relatively small restaurant. Spain is a beautiful country but after the sights the variety of food is limited. You can only eat so much tapas and paella. There were only 6 people in the restaurant but the 3 members of staff seemed to worked off their feet. The tapas were great but we decided against staying for dessert. We have a train to catch tomorrow.
When we arrived back at the hotel James discovered his favourite intenet game was on the hotel PC so he had to have a 30 minute fix before bed. The rest of us were exhausted.
