We arrived in Paris late afternoon on 16th July after a great weekend in London and an even better journey to France on the Eurostar.

We quickly checked into our hotel, which was OK, and then we hit the sights. We had a great first evening in Paris and when we finally arrived back at the hotel we instantly crashed.

On our second day in the city we once again hit the streets at about 9:30 and during the day managed to cover the majority of the sights, covering most of the journies on the river boats. James decided that we should walk down the Eiffel Tower and count the steps. For those of you who are interested there are 665!

We finally arrived back in our hotel at 10:30, some 13 hours after leaving. Our third day in Paris saw us once again hit the streest but with only one thing in mind, a visit to the Louvre. We spend the best part of 6 hours walking around the museum and we were all blown away by the scale of the place. I am really sorry that I left it until now to visit for the first time.

From the Louvre we made our way to the train station to board the train to Madrid.
