24th July PMWell we decided to walk up the hill to the La Hambra Palace this afternoon and boy what a mistake.  It didn´t seem that far and it wasn´t but it was soooooooo hot!   The palace was fantastic and we had a great time.   We didn´t leave until just before 7pm and when walking down the hill we noticed that a digital sign was showing 39C!  We just went back to the hotel, a quick shower and out for supper....

Well we had another great train journey. This time from Madrid to Sevilla, which is a beautiful city, full of lovely buildings and great places to eat, drink and walk. Our hotel is OK, not that we are intending to spend much time there.I think I´ve cracked the Spanish version of windows and can now start adding photos to this site. We are intending to walk all around the historic areas of the city today and spend some time at the 12th Century Alcazar Palace...

Well we arrived safely in Madrid this morning after a really enjoyable journey on the "Fransico De Goya" sleepertrain that departed Paris on the minute it was supposed to and arrived into Madrid on the minute.We had a four berth room and it was such fun, especially after we had all washed our feet.
