6am drive in taxi from Sorrento to Naples airport. 1 hr 45min flight to santorini. Perfect cloudless blue skies and seas. Breathtaking view of the caldera from hotel - Xenones Filotera in Imerovigli. Pool & sunbake straight away. Mariska gets me drunk with a bottle of prosecco from Villa Jolanda. Drunk and out for the rest of the afternoon. Have dinner poolside and with perfect view of caldera and beautiful red sunset disappearing into the sea. Moon & Mars appear then followed by all the stars. Mariska loves the fava bean dip and lobster risotto. I'm still drunk.

Early to bed. Was a long day.
