Uncle Ho Closed
We were told by the hotel that Uncle Ho Chi Minh was away in Moscow having his preserving fluids topped up but we went anyway to see the gardens and found every where shut for a long lunch. Found a rusting B52 bomber and some missiles instead and took refuge from the heat in the best bar so far called Bar Betta.

It is 3pm local time Yvonne is looking at culture in the fine arts museum, I am looking at roasted peanuts and two for one pints in Bar Beta around the corner. Vietnam covers all bases.

Just returned from a night in old town. Don't know where to start so won't. Will say diner and drinks for two was £4:50 our most expensive yet , just because Yvonne insisted on chairs with backs. Who knew that was important?
