Well we have made it. We are on the downward trek now.The sign says 1139 miles west to Los Angeles, 1139 miles east to Chicago.The sign was opposite the Mid Point Cafe.We stopped there and had some ugly crust pie.It was a lovely apple pie with ice cream.The cafe was set up like a little diner.I did take a couple of photos inside.When we were driving across the Texan plains it reached 106f.When we crossed into New Mexico the scenery changed completely.I expected J...
