We have had a leisurely day today looking around Santa Monica which is lovely.I can see why you liked it Emma.It reminded us of Manley in Australia.The weather has been just right for mooching around, there was a lovely breeze coming off the sea.Well as you can see from the photo we made it to the pier and a lovely guy from the little route 66 booth took our picture.Bless him I think he must take loads during the day.

We had a little walk along muscle beach and as you can see the scenery was pleasing to the eye in places.We had to have an ice cream on the pier. but believe it or not we haven't had too many this holiday.I don't think i have had any chocolate at all because it would have melted before it was eaten.That must be a wold record.I haven't had a decent cappuccino and we are both gasping for a cup of tea.They cannot make decent hot drinks.

We have only had 1 doughtnut as well.Oh for a Timmy's

Well it is our last full day tomorrow.We are hoping to go to downtown Los Angeles to see all the sights.We are going to go on the Hop on Hop off Red Bus.It has to be done and it is a good way to see cities and its a lot cheaper than the organised tours.
