Yes folks we have made it to the end of our journey.At 5.30 this afternoon we pulled into the carpark of our hotel.What a sense of acheivement we both felt.However the last 40 miles of the journey was probably the busiest.Daves driving as always has been exemplary , the trusty white stead minus the wheel trims has been very reliable and last but not least the star of the show GORDON,who has been truly outstanding it never let us down.Mind you we still have to get to LAX on Saturday fingers crossed.

The credit card has finally taken a bit of a hammering,but not too bad.We finally found an outlet mall.The prices were absolutely ridiculous.Dave is still winning about 5 to 1 in the retail stakes,but he is now man at Timberland.The only problem was it was in the middle of the Mohave Desert and it was 111f when we got into the car.

Hope you like the photos of Las Vegas,what an amazing place.We have never seen such huge hotels.Needless to say we didn't have any luck on the machines last night , so we will be back on Sunday.

It is nice to think that we will be in this hotel for 3 nights.We are hoping to get the photo of Dave standing under the End of route 66 tomorrow,so watch this space.

Anyway thats it for now as we are going to be California dreaming now.
