We arrived in surfers paradise late at night and had to catch a second bus to get to our hostel. My first impressions were that it reminded me of florida. Our hostel was a way out of town but it was nice and clean. We settled in at night and the next day we ventured to sea world which was just up the road.

Sea world was good we saw the dolphins,seals, sealions and the most interesting was the shark enclosure hich had both a tiger and whaler shark (both very big). We watched a load of shows but then the weather turned and started to rain heavy (our luck had just run out). So we ran back and watched the wheel of fortune.

We had arranged for a hot air balloon ride for the next day but it was called off due to the weather and so we moved on to brisbane early.
