So due to the weather we arived in brisbane a couple hours earlier and it wasnt better here but that didnt dampen our spirits and off we went straight into town to explore. We only had a couple of ours but brisbane is quite spread out adn we found the library has free internet - excelent!!

The next day it chucked it down but we went to the castlemain XXXX brewery and took the tour which was good and more importantly we got loads of beer and they do more than just the cooking larger we get at home. in the evening we found a casino which was massive over 4 levels and spent a bit of time here.

on our last day the rain eased off and so we went for a nice walk along the banks of the river and around the gardens were they had an eel pond. All in all brisbane was a more mellow place with lots of cafes and we just relaxed before our flight to Auckland
