We woke up to a beautiful sunny day in Broken Hill, packed up and got on the road. The trip to Mildura was great then spent the rest of the day at the caravan park catching up on a few things. Yesterday we explored the town and Visitor Information Centre, then off to look at the Muarry River and it's Weir and Lock 11. We were lucky enough to be there when a Paddle steamer entered the lock to go down stream. I took photos of the process of lowering the lock. Trish had sussed out that there was a Gem and ROCK shop in town so that was next on the agenda of course. It turned out to be an amazing rock shop and 2 hours later and leg tired we staggered out and headed back to camp. Not only did they have an amazing array of cut and polished stones but they had the best museum section we have ever come across. Plan to go touring today.

All was well after it had gone. he's still in one piece so is his mum and dad!!!! BHP look after their workers abit better now. Looks like you will be having to have shares in Australia Post the way you are sending rocks back to Perth Hahaha. Looks like you 2 are having a great time on the road. Are you going to the AGM? Take care, just love reading your blog. Julie
