Well here it is folks my last entry from Australia (sob,sob). Here is what I have been up to since the last time I wrote on here.

After having a good birthday I stayed in for a few nights until we decided to randomly go out on a Thursday night. A few drinks I thought, except I forgot that I was with two Irish girls!! We ordered a jug, which equals just under three pints, so that was just under a pint each. It was lovely until I realised that we had got through seven jugs between us!! There was also a wet t-shirt competiton on which we didn't watch or take part in!! I decided at midnight I needed to go home as I had work the next morning!! I got home and went straight to sleep. I then had to get uop at 5.30am to go to work. It was not good.I am never again drinking on a school night

The weekend after the random drinking, we went to Chermside shopping centre, it was huge, we were there for a few hours just walking around. In the evening me and Dee went to the pub to watch the wallabies vs the all blacks. The next day me and Siobhan went to Dreamworld again, we went on all rides in the morning. We then had roast dinner, it was delicious! After that we had a look at all the wildlife and a look around the shops befroe coming back to the hostel!!

The next day was Siobhan and Dee's last day in Brisbane. Me,Siobhan and Clare went out for a drink (I only had one as it was a school night). I will be sad to see them go as they were good fun!!

That week at work was very boring apart from the Friday. We all got to wear pyjamas to work, including the children, for a big pyjama party. The children all brought plates of food to share with everyone. It was a really good day!!

I really wanted to go and see the simpsons movie after my boring week at work but it was fully booked for three days. I ended up going to watch Harry Potter again, it was better the second time around!! On the Saturday I was walking into the city when I bumped into one of mine and Rosie's bus drivers from the west coast, Bald Pete. After I saw him I went to a weight lifting competition, most of the guys were really short and one of them was over seventy!! I couldn't watch him I thought he might collapse or something!! After the excitment of the weight lifting competiton, me and Tracey (a girl from the hostel) went to a dance festival. they had stages showing people dancing and then you could join in certain classes. We tried hip hop, salsa, disco, salsa and swing, out of all of them I managed to co-ordinate myself enough to do quite well at swing!! How I don't know!! I always thought my dancing was good until I saw how good other people were.

I eventually got round to seeing the simpsons movie and I thought it was brilliant!!

Well next came the week from hell!! It started like any other week,until Wednesday came along. I was just about to go home from work when a little boy fell off the balancing beam. He had cut his head open. I took him upstairs and then his parents were called and he went to the hospital. Because I was in charge at the time it happened, I had to fill in loads of forms and got questioned loads. It felt like it was my fault. Anyway it all turned out ok in the end, the parents thanked us and the little boy was fine. Then on the Friday a little boy killed my bosses expensive fish!! He was trying to pick it up, and it broke by itself!! Yeah right, knowing him he did it on purpose!! To make me feel better during that week I went to watch a cheerleading competition. It was great, just like the film bring it on!! I did get quite worried the way they were flinging people in the air!!

On the Saturday night I found myself in the casino again, but this time in the poker pit!! I was going to play but the bets were too high and I don't have any money as it is!! Some guy had a huge pile of chips. On the sunday Me and Tracey went on a cruise along the Brisbane river, it was a really nice day and I managed to get some good photos. After the river cruise we went to a Brisbane Broncos game, they play rugby league, there were 35,000 people there it was great except the Broncos lost.

The next week I got promoted at work!! I am now second in charge!! If ever the director is away I am in charge!! The week went really quickly. At the weekend I went to Ekka, which is a big country show. I had great fun watching all the shows and just soaking up the atmosphere!! I was there from 9am til 9pm!!

So my time in oz has come to an end, thank you to everyone who has made it a brilliant adventure!! I will write again soon!!
