Well I have now been here just over a month and have seen most of the city, although it is so big that I doubt I will every see it all!!

The first weekand I was here I went to see shrek 3.

Over the following weeks/weekensds I visited the museum, the south bank area, shopping centres and the cheap cinema!! I

have also been working hard during this time, there is a lot of paper work invloved, which is crazy when all I want to do is look after children!!

I have made some good friends with my room mates at the hostel, we visited Dreamworld which is a big theme park, it has some really scary rides and I went on all of them!!

It was then my birthday weekend!!! After being woken by an early morning phone call, I opened my presents!! We then went and watched Harry Potter, it was very good and I can't wait to read the next book!! After that we ended drinking in our hostel before goint to the casino at midnight. The casino was huge and great fun we were too scared to try any of the table games but we did play on the slot machines, I won $10!! We then went to an irish pub, there were lots of fights there so it reminded me of home!!

The next day we went out for lunch. I had a good birthday even if I did miss my friends and family back home.

We are going back to Dreamworld next weekend and we might go back to the casino and be brave and play roulette!! Wish me luck!! I 'll keep you updated!!
