We headed to Mackay for a couple of days, it was nice to chill out after the last few days. But after two days we were ready to move on. There is nothing to do in Mackay. We then went to rockhampton, we got there quite late in the evening so we didn't really see a lot and we were getting picked up at 6.30am the next morning to go to Myella farm, this would be our home for the next few days. After breakfast at the farm we went on a 3 hr horse ride. Emma's horse was called salt'n'pepper and Rachels horse was called smokin joe. We had to help collect logs on the way!! After lunch we had the choice of either a motorbike lesson or helping to feed the horses. Rachel went on the motoerbike while I fed the horses and helped catch an injured horse. After working hard all day it was dinner time, we had an early night as we were both really tired and we had an early start the next day. The next day arrived and we went for another horse ride but this time we got to round up some horses and herd them back to the farm. In the afternoon we had to sort them and put them in the paddocks. Easier said then done!! At one point I had eight horses galloping towards me, I hid behind the gate!! This was the end of the farm stay, it was great fun but very tiring. Now off to Fraser island!!
