So I am at home in good old Edlesborough, for anyone who doesn?t know where that is it?s in between Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead, Milton Keynes and Luton. But don?t let that fool you it?s actually a very ice village with Whipsnade Zoo just on the border.
It?s been really funny being at home, I mean I had already seen my parents and family in Cornwall, but hadn?t yet had the pleasure of living with them, or seeing my house etc?
When I got home, it felt very small! I suppose it?s a natural feeling, having lived on my own for 12 months, never really having a constant base, well a base for the whole time. One thing that definitely has changed in me, is the fact I see my little village like never before ? it really is gorgeous, all the fields and greenery, hills and houses. Edlesborough is a really pretty village.
It?s funny how easily I have slipped back into my old lifestyle ? seeing friends, going to the pub, staying in to conserve money, watching TV etc? Sometimes it feels like I have never been away. Also something that is really funny, while travelling, experiencing new things daily, making decisions that affect your whole life, nothing really changes back home. My friends are all still around, doing their own things, I mean some are getting married, and moving into their own houses but not much else has happened!
So a week into being back I am working at a Data Entry job just for the money, but my social life has peaked. I am booked up until June?I even had to get a diary so I don?t double book myself. Brilliant!
Honestly that?s one of the only things, including job hunting that?s keeping me going! I miss travelling so much, I miss all my friends I made while out there (that was really important to me!) but I am looking to settle, buy a house and get a new car.
It?s going to be a brilliant summer
