My Trip
So from Bryon we headed up to Brisbane, but decided not to stop for now, and carried on to Noosa, a little town just north of Brisbane. Noosa is gorgeous, a quaint little town for the retired mainly. The Beaches and walks were sensational, with Sand dunes stretching into the ocean. There was another reason for stopping here, yes access to Steve Irwin’s Zoo – Crikey! The Crocodile Hunter! This day was wicked. We got to see feeding of the crocodiles, stroke Koalas, baby Alligators, among others - it was brilliant fun. The Pictures describe it all! We had some god fun looking at the animals, and Luke is the most enthusiastic person alive. So that added character. The ocean is still clear, the clearest I have ever seen, and we have been swimming all the way up the coast so far, which has been good. You can’t always due to Stingers, Sharks and Jellyfish. It’s Gorgeous. We have been really lucky with the weather, with not one spot of rain so far! Cross Fingers. We also stopped at Surfers Paradise which is up the Gold Coast, kind of like a resort for the Aussies, very commercial but could be fun for another time. It’s a weird picture to have a city just next to a beach. Another one of our little adventures took us Orbing, where you roll down a hill in a big plastic ball with water in it! Sounds weird, but it was absolutely hilarious. Sliding around while rolling down a hill! Who ever thought of it was a genius! I don’t think I have laughed that much ever. We head to Fraser from here, and I can’t wait.
