One night at Eucla turned into two when we figured a day not on the road would be a better idea. Great caravan park at the top of the hill, overlooking the Bight. Spent some time at the beach, but it was a bit cold to swim, and generally relaxed. Did some bush bashing to find some larger dunes in the Eucla National Park. Great fun of roading through the bush and climbing/jumping off huge white sand dunes by the ocean. 

Organised with friends to stay at Cocklebiddy road house, but wasn't really impressed by what was on offer when we arrived. The petrol station man suggested a bush camp 10km up the road, so we opted for that. Great to have a free night in the bush with a camp fire and good company.

Stopped for a few photos riding the horse at Norseman before starting the trip East across the Nullabor. Had a great one night stay at Fraser Range Station where we saw kangaroos, horses, camels, and an emu with some chicks.

Stocked up on groceries in Esperance and then headed to Cape Le Grand. Got a great spot overlooking the ocean in Lucky Bay. Plenty of resident kangaroos could be spotted by the beach or sleeping around the campsite Reunited with fellow travellers from 80 mile beach again to our surprise and delight of the kids. Weather was variable and not hot enough for us to swim, but great for lazing on the beach and exploring all the surrounding bays.

Quick overnight stop about 50 metres from the highway. A small park for the girls kept them entertained. Not a bad spot to eat pizza and watch the road trains go by. Roadhouse owner got the leaf blower out about 4am to give us a nice early start the next day.
