Costs for a camp site in WA certainly seem to be high compared to other places in Aus. Regardless a nice camp by the Fitzroy with plenty of wallabies, and some tree frogs to entertain the girls.
Did a boat tour of Geike Gorge which is supposedly full of crocodiles, but we only managed to see 2. Spectacular view along the river anyway and well worthwhile.
Planned to drive to Tunnel Creek but turned back about half way due to a deep water crossing we doubted the Outlander would handle. We weren't encouraged by the stranded French tourists in their 4WD which had flooded the engine on the way through.
Subsequently a relaxing day around camp to wrap up our inland section of travels. Looking forward to returning to Broome after 6 years, along with less heat and humidity of the WA coast.
