Set up base at Florence Falls camp site as close to the water as possible, considering the temperature continues to be in the high 30s and humidity is rising for 4 nights. Mosquitos everywhere and a steady increase in temperature meaning less sleep for everyone at night. Saw our first wild wallabies at an early dawn bush walk after an unsuccessful spotlight the night before. First signs of the masses of ant hills in the NT which seem to grow bigger as you head north.
