Day 7 - Swakopmund This is our first day off and away from the truck and a chance to do our own thing ...... A welcome break from the intensity of the full group 24/7. Woken up early by Annette buzzing around - she is like a child on Christmas morning. We ( Annette & I) were picked up at 9.30 AM for our Quad bikes and then did a 2 hour adventure across the dunes ...... Day 6 – Namib Naukluft NP - Swakopmund (380 KM) Another early start, we had breakfast at 6 AM and then left just before 7. We had our first stop at a place called Solitaire, where there was a bakery, which was famous for their apple pie (Massive portion) so had to try this because it had been at least half an hour since breakfast. Day 5 - Namib national park On the truck for 6:45 am drive 50 kilometres to national park ..... Drive to Dune45 which is 350 metres high .....
