Day 13 Namibia Windhoek - Botswana Ghanzi (520 KM): Botswana Bound A long driving day today and we were also going to cross the border into Botswana. I made an agreement with Annette on an alcohol free day …… The pact lasted until 1:37 pm when we crossed into Botswana which of course we had to celebrate …… would be quite rude not to. Day 9 - Khorixas - Outjo (340 KM): Today we started off with a trip to the Petrified Forest, which was an area full of these stone trees, which were over 260 million years old.. However the real highlight of today was a visit to the Himba tribes - where there is still around 120.000 people belonging to this tribe living in Namibia.
