Day 2 - Namibia Bound ................We now roused at 5:30 am showers, breakfast and briefing then on the road for 7:00am. As we headed through the Northern Cape the terrain became very different from the lush Green the 9 "efes" had experienced on the Garden Route and the Western Cape. Today the Safari team assembled in Capetown at dawn ..... 1 English, 1 Dane, 1 American and 9 Germans ...... Plus a driver and cook (both from Zimbabwe) The truck was empty but when we went for a seat ....... The best one's had bags on them (or was it towels ?) ..... I wonder who? We loaded the lorry with our gear and climbed aboard ...... This truck would be our home for next 41 days and it has no air-con, the driver said that for the full African experience ...
