We had a pretty bumpy flight in to Phuket with a crap load of turbulence and a full plane. The flight was only 50 mins over beautiful oceans and little islands.
We wandered around town tonight and enjoyed the sites and sounds. Perfect temperature although the rain arrives quick just to douse you then disappears again just as quick. We had some salad and burgers for dins and wandered up and down the strips. People are super friendly but it gets pretty tiring saying no to suits and tuk tuks.
We just had hour long oil massages for $9 which was super relaxing. Makes a pleasant change to the ones we've been getting where they beat the s*** out of you. Wonder if there's such a thing as too many massages? Nah... that just wouldn't be a world I would want to live in.
Our hotel is the tallest in Phuket and we've got great views of Patong beach. It's not as big as we thought but the place still comes alive after dark. We are on the 16th floor but can here the music from below.
We have the lady boy district just a street away and wandered back through on our way home. I know what u girls go through now by being looked at like a piece of meat. Well make that sexy meat. They are all friendly though but that didn't stop me grabbing Jacs hand. She wants to go to one of their clubs tomorrow night for a look so we will stop in. I'm fine with that because I'm confident with my sexuality. Aren't I?
We've booked a taxi to take us round the island tomorrow to see the sites. All for $27. Then on Monday we've got an all day tour to Phi Phi island where they filmed The Beach with Leo. Awesome film if u haven't seen it.
