Just a quick one...well as quick as I can be anyway!

We got to Phuket after the worst mini van ride ever! I swear the driver thought he was Micheal Schumacher, hitting over 120k (what ever that is in mph) on a very winding, busy road in a tin can! I felt sick as a dog and every one on there looked like they were all praying for their lives as this crazy little thai man ripped around bends weaving in and out of cars all whilst smoking a fag and talking on is phone....not a nice drive!

So we had read that Phuket was very busy and touristy but we had the time to go and see for ourselves and yep it was busy and touristy, it was ok once you pushed your way past the 6 rows of tightly packed sun beds and mean looking russians! Karon beach was supposed to be the quieter of the main beaches but it was still pretty busy. We decided to just stay two nights and then move on to Koh Phi Phi.

We spent the day on beach, it is so hot here and luckily the beach was quite nice once you pushed past all the sunbeds and the sea was really good, we spent the whole day popping in and out just to cool off. We found a new bat and ball to replace our useless flimsy one and now we are awesome! Anna Kornakova and Roger Federar had better whatch out!!! Damo gets really fed up when he just sits in the sun and its actually less work to play bat and ball with him than it is to sit and listen to him complain about the sweat dripping in his eyes!
