THURSDAY Had a very early start to be at the Carolina First Centre for the opening ceremonies and got there just in time. Made the short trip from Charlotte to Greenville in an hour or so - stopped at the big BMW car plant just past Spartanburg to see if we could do a tour and once again were disappointed to find the place closed for the summer holiday until next week!
