My first month abroad is almost finished. I've been to York and Manchester and various other little villages along the way with family. The weather was good when I first arrived but then it snowed and it was all down hill from there! I've seen more hail and rain in the last month than I would in a winter in Australia. I'm getting the full England experience! I've seen some beautiful castles and visited museums and churches. All the villages and towns have cobbled streets and roads, the buildings look ancient and there is a church or ruins where ever you turn. It's really magical. We get milk delivered to the door in glass bottles and people ride horses and go hunting, I feel like I've gone back in time.
Went on a night out with some of little deans friends it was an eventful night ending in a ceedy little club in selby and a broken nose! Good times though. It is so different to australian night life, the cold being the main difference. And the pubs we visit we so old but full of young people.
I have spent a lot of time with my aunty and uncles it's been great. Everyone has been so welcoming and generous! I had my hair done at Natalie's salon and then Michelle used me as practice for her new camera and studio set up! I had fun.
Starting to miss My family and friends, although it doesn't even feel real yet. I'm lucky to have come to such a great family. So I feel really at home. Can't wait to leave brotherton and get the trip started. London here I come.
