First 24 hours from home. I already feel like I've been here forever. Met a lot of family I didn't know I had and been told I look like my mum by everyone I meet. Even got stopped this morning on my run for someone to tell me I look just like "our carol". Still getting used to weather. It's hot apparently! Looks like I brought some of the Aussie sun. Got a lot to see in the month I'm here! Met some kids who know some of my old primary school friends from when I lived here in 2000. Going to be weird catching up with them. Can't wait to check out the night life around here! I'm sure there won't be much near by. The village I'm in only has a tiny post office.
