Back in Rimini. I've been back for over a week now, settled back into my Italian life, back with my little family. Its been extended since I left. We now have Liz a sweet girl from London who is so caring and beautiful, Jen a sexy chick from California who rarely is seen with a top on, Joel a sick dude from Perth his so chilled and we get along really well, then there are the usual suspects Robbie the "fabulous" diva from England and Alex the giant from Perth. It's like a weird family who all get on amazingly well considering we have only been together about a week.

We've decided that a day in Rimini equals a month in real time. So much happens in a short period of time and that can explain how close we all are. We're so open which is refreshing but also kind of just apart travelling. Relationships you make in this situation are like none other, you get closer, quicker and share some experiences that can bond you for a life time.

So my role in the hostel is to cook lunch for the staff. I volunteered a few times when I first arrived and they loved my cooking so much I now do it full time. It involves cooking for about twenty fussy Italians plus the workawayers who will eat anything I put in front of them. It's fun because I have an industrial size kitchen and a massive pantry full of delicious food to use.

Then at night I do a really laid back shift at the second hostels bar. There is never anyone here so I spend three hours chilling and reading books. I've finished two in the short time I've been doing these night shifts.

The hostel opened a third sister hostel since I left, it's only 200 meters down the street from the one I initially lived in. This one is cool our room leads onto a terrace which is on the roof. We sun bake up there, have roof top parties and sometimes pull our mattresses out and watch movies and sleep under the stars. I'm loving it here and don't look forward to leaving my friends again. But on the other hand I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of Europe!
