Day 8: Hue to Ho Chi Minh Today started very early with a wake up call from the hotel at 4:45. We got ready, packed up and headed down to the lobby, where we checked out, picked up our breakfast boxes and jumped on the bus, leaving the hotel at 5:45am to head to the Hue airport. Today started with an early rise to say goodbye to Hoian and head to Hue. We had a quick stop in Danang at a marble shop where there were many statues carved out of local marble. We then carried on our travels and our next stop was at the Danang lookout at the top of a big hill where an American military base was during the war. We then carried on into Hue.
