Another beautiful spring day. We spent it driving the back roads through villages in Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset so er saw rolling green meadows, heaps of thatched cottages, sheep and cattle. Lunch at a pub in Milton Abbas which is officially one of the prettiest villages in England and we could see why. We stayed off the main roads wherever possible because there is so much more to see meandering the narrow roads and lanes. Alan better but still not fully recovered so a new record is about to be set - a visit to Deirdre's without any grog at her place or any of the pubs we have been to - not a record to be proud of but I need to fully ok to tackle the flights to Singapore and Phuket on Saturday / Sunday. Quiet night at the cottage tonight.
