Now we are out walking the walled city of Old San Juan. Along the waterfront to El Morro Fort then into the cobblestones narrow streets. Lots of $ has been spent on building restoration and painting making them quite colourful and quaint but parts are a bit touristy (for the cruise ships obviously) but this is less obvious
as you get further away from the piers.
Afternoon on the beach at the sister hotel to ours then out to dinner at Marmalade - got one of the last tables and had to go at 5.45 which suited us. Restaurant number 1 on Trip Advisor so lucky to get in. Unusual and interesting decor (eclectic, contemporary, modern not sure how to describe it because it is a bit of all of these - lots of different types of seating decor and arrangements). Excellent food, great service and reasonably priced for what we had.
Onto the cruise ship tomorrow for a bit of do nothing time which we probably need given how much we have crammed into the last 10 days
