After surviving my first night train, finding it suprisingly easy to sleep we arrived in Nha Trang. Nha Trang is a port city and is the biggest city in Khanh Hoa province, and is home to a lovely beach! However some exciting sea conditions, the sea is not calm at all and constantly sending waves crashing onto the beach. Swimming is fun although be prepared to get fully dunked, I got pulled under a few times. The main part of Nha Trang has become a holiday resort area popular with the russians, and is slightly lacking in the cultural feel of vietnam. Similiar to Sihanoukville the other beach resort I stayed at in Cambodia, the bars here have started to employ western travellers to convince holiday makers to come to their bars, walking down the main strip of bars with english people convincing you to come and have a free shot you could be in any european holiday resort. On the second day at Nha Trang we headed out to mineral spa and mud baths, this was great fun and very relaxing I hope the mud regenerates my skin that has possibly seen a little to much sun!!
Some of the best food of trip enjoyed here, Lantern restaurant uses it's proffits to help local children their ginger beef is BEAutiful and further enjoyed grilled tiger prawns freshly caught at Kirrin restaurant.
