The next day and when I finally found the forest I went for about a five hour hike I was exhausted and just wanted to get back and have an early night.
I decided that I would drive from the Redwoods to San Francisco it would be the longest drive yet but I thought it would be best to do that so I could go to the outlets just outside San Francisco. Seeing as it would be Black Friday there maybe more deals. I also thought that once I went to the outlets I could send everything back home that I wanted to and get the car back all in enough time.
I didn't realise I would be going over the Golden Gate Bridge to get to San Francisco and when I saw signs I quickly crabbed my phone so I could try and take a picture as I drove over it. When I got to San Francisco because it was thanksgiving and late there wasn't any motels/hotels that I could find anyway. I finally found somewhere and it cost me $169 which really pissed me off but I had to stop driving.
I went to the outlets again and there were some really good deals on, which cheered me up after the dent in my wallet from the night before.
The whole drive from Seattle to San Francisco was BEAUTIFUL! I drove right next to the sea and through some beautiful woodland I was so happy I decided to hire a car. I did get the chance to have the roof down some of the way, when I got further south but it wasn't that warm. I just had to get some use of having a convertible, typical English.
