As we left The Grampians we managed to see some kangaroos! The last two days we have spent hugging the coastline along the Great Ocean road. Spectacular scenery and many stories of shipwrecks! Got up mega early mainly cos i couldn't sleep(yes clare couldnt sleep!) jet lag was still annoying me. Left melbourne at 7:30am and met two others on my tour so there was only 3 of us which was cute. An american guy called Suresh and a dutch girl called Marlene really nice and we chatted all the way to the mountains! Arrived yesterday evening to the cultural city of Melbourne. Staying in a bit of nasty hostel but it will do! Did some sightseeing today taking the free tram around the centre. Went to Queen Victoria market which was a mix of Oxford' s posh covered market and Camden! Checked out the Yarra river, Captain cooks cottage, Fitzroy gardens, Chinatown and Melbourne Museum which was free to get in to for us cheapskate students!
