phi phi is the most beautiful island ever, it's so picturesque. on the first day we got there we took in the sights and met up with ben and craig. that night we went out drinking in irish bar which is a great place with great music and pool tables, so it was very fun indeed. on the second day we went snorkelling, which was approx. 7 quid for the whole day and we went on a long boat to several locations including maya beach (where 'the beach' was filmed, unfortunately leonardo di caprio had already left. interesting to get to though, we had to swim over sharp coral and past the poisonous snake to get there, we were all bleeding when we reached dry land, impressive huh. the fish though were amazing, i've never been surrounded by so many beautiful fish, they were literally all around you, the most exotic fish i'd ever seen, although unfortunately none of us managed to find nemo :( dag nabbit! that night we found a wicked italian restaurant to eat at, went to irish bar again and had a relatively early night... we also broke the air conditioner in our room so it was quite damp in our room... oops! last day theweather was a bit pants, we saw why they call it rainy season, but we made the most of the day chilling out and me and jim went shopping for a few more unneccessary bits and pieces
