Hi All, having arrived in bangkok yesterday evening we were hit by a heatwave, it's really crazy that you're in an oven all the time, even at 1am in the morning it's still about 25!! me and jim met luke on the khao san road last night and met up with his friend who showed us the ropes a little bit, we had "buckets" of rum... which was interesting! also beat jim and this other guy at pool, he cried. our hotel is amazing, 5* with views all across bangkok, looking forward to downgrading tonight, although apparently our accommodation really isn't that bad. going to go and make use of the hotel facilities now and then meeting luke to go to a huge shopping centre (great huh!)
