we arrived pretty early in Brisbane and checked ino Palace backpackers hostel, which was really nice. we went straight to find ben, a guy we'd met in thailand but also happened to be in Brisbane at the same time as us. so we met up with him and naturally went out to a bar. we also met up with a guy called craig, who we were also with in thailand, so that was cool. we were at a bar for a while with a few people before retiring home. the next day we went and bought Harry Potter (very important) and then we ended up going to see the Harry Potter film (bit of a potter fest) before heading back to bens place and drinking a bit more before going out to the bar below our hostel. we had a really good night and i got free drinks as it was ladies night, which is always a good thing :) we got picked up the next day at 1pm to head to Byron Bay
