We had an 8 hours bus journey to Bangkok to then catch the sleeper bus. Bangkok felt like a completely different place to our previous visit due to the floods. Shops were boarded up and hardly anything open. Fortunately, there didn't appear to be much damage in the centre of Bangkok. After Bangkok we had a 12 hour reclining chair bus journey to Krabi (Thailand) then a 2 hour boat trip onto Ko Phi Phi where we were taking a much needed and well deserved 5 day 'holiday'

Kho Phi Phi is a stunning little Island. There are no cars or bikes on the island which is soo refreshing and peaceful after being in Vietnam and Cambodia.

We went out for drinks along the beach front the first night. There were fire shows on the beach which were Incredible. Yet again the bucket drinks come out to play and lots of dancing happened. We met an Austrailian girl Ray, who was on holiday with her dad (Chris) and his fiancé (Sie) who treated us to margaritas all night. They kindly invited us on a boat trip the following day which we were soo excited about.
We met Ray, Si and Chris in the morning And had the most perfect day. A longtail boat took us to the otherside of Phi Phi where the private beaches were. We then stopped off and snorkelled in the sea. It was Shell and Sarah's first time snorkelling and they absolutely loved it. We got the uncontrollable fits of giggles when we first put our sexy gear on. We fed the fish with bread and it was incredible to see them so close to us (once we got over the fear).
We stopped for lunch on a beautiful private beach where Chris kindly paid for everything. We then sailed on to Maya Bay starting off at the lagoon where we stopped off and had a swim in the clearest, bluest waters I've ever seen. We then went onto Maya Beach. 'The Beach' was filmed there. It was in a cove with the softest, whitest sand ever and a multicolour of blue sea enclosed by dark green cliffs. We then headed on to a Private Enclosed cove with only our boat there. we got out and snorkelled again. It was so perfectly peaceful. After this we went to Monkey beach where the monkeys live. Unfortunately we got there too late as the monkeys had gone home. Lastly, we stopped off in the middle of the ocean and watched the sunset. That was my idea of a PERFECT day. breathtaking.

Next day was a beach day. We all got quite burnt and I think i suffered with a bit of heatstroke as I was a pukey girl that evening and a little the next day. We all felt a bit dodgy so not sure it was something we ate or too much sun.

Saturday - We wandered the whole of Ko Phi phi Island and shopped a lot. Also treated ourselves to a pamper evening where Shell and Sarah had a full body massage and I treated my Monster Munch feet to what i thought was a luxury 45 minute scrub & pedicure to find out it was literally just a coat of nail varnish. I Was not impressed sat there waiting for shell and Sarah whilst they were having the time of there lives for an hour at the same price as my nail varnish which I couldn't careless about. On the plus side, my feet do look quite pretty.... Kind of.
