We had an 8 hours bus journey to Bangkok to then catch the sleeper bus. Bangkok felt like a completely different place to our previous visit due to the floods. Shops were boarded up and hardly anything open. Fortunately, there didn't appear to be much damage in the centre of Bangkok.
